Moét & chandon : bloomingdale's

Product Design

Design a secondary, interactive experience for Moét & Chandon to support Bloomingdale's in-store shopper event.

Project Role

Responsible for the digital experience inside Bloomingdale's key shopper event promoting Moét & Chandon and Bloomingdale's fashion. I ideated the concept, sketched the interaction components and look-and-feel for the tablet experience, and presented a mock visual design of the actual execution for concept sign-off. To my surprise, the mock was exactly what the client was expecting and after slight adjustments to the clothing items used in the design, the creative was approved!

Other responsibilities included: asset sourcing clothing items and food products, visual design, copywriting, and design QA.

The Product

My team and I created an interactive quiz for users to find out which flavor of champagne matched their fashion style by answering 3 questions on a tablet device. The experience was introduced with video animation of Moét & Chandon branding and then based on a user's quiz selections, a Moét & Chandon champagne, ingredients associated and a fun description of how this champagne matches one's style was revealed to the user.

Design

The start of the experience served one of these intro frames randomly to a user to 'Tap to take the Quiz' after the Moét & Chandon video intro animation.

Frames of the quiz questions showing active/selected states and how the experience concludes to submit a user's selections.

Based on the user's quiz selections, a Moét & Chandon champagne was revealed that best matches the user's fashion 'taste'.
